In order to develop a powerful artistic concept, tools and structures for deepening ideas and ambitions are crucial for whether a project will obtain support from foundations and enter into partnerships with the business world and theater stages. And while several performing artists are on unemployment benefit and have their careers as performers on standby, it is a mystery to us that more focus is not being placed on providing tools that can motivate and inspire performing artists to create their own productions. We will do something about it!

 

Kaosteater dream of creating a change in the field of performing arts, where more smaller actors come on board and thereby create more jobs and more diversity among the country's performing arts productions. We are pursuing that dream with a series of handbooks that will go all the way around the performing arts process - from idea and practice to strategy, branding and fundraising to management. Our first handbook 'Development of ideas' is already on the streets and gives actors, theater students and other performing artists the tools to take the first step in the artistic soil.
