"What’s amazing about the independent performing arts scene and the emerging layer is the space it offers to experiment and just do. That’s kind of how I am myself — very much a just do it person. That’s how I started writing my own texts, launching my own concepts, and directing my own ideas. It might sound like a one-person job, but it’s far from that. And that’s the other thing I love about the performing arts community. There are so many inspiring people who, like me, have a taste for the just do it mindset. That’s how our theatre collective started — as a place where we could meet, support each other, and strengthen one another’s projects."
TEATER I DER
Teater I DER is a young theatre collective working cross-artistically and cross-aesthetically through an exploratory approach.
I DER was created by us and for us. It is where we come together around what we are passionate about. We share the belief that performing arts and creating creative projects are exciting—whether you are an actor, choreographer, graphic designer, or writer.
I DER does not aim for one specific aesthetic or direction within performing arts. It is the interest and desire that guide us. With this approach, the theatre has continuously developed a diverse and colorful repertoire consisting of classical theatre, performance art, video works, and experimental workshops. It is the people who create the aesthetics and the direction.
DAGLIGSTUETEATRET
Dagligstueteatret is a group of ambitious young people passionate about the arts.
The association was founded to create a space for projects and art for young people in Aarhus and the surrounding area.
We want to provide a platform for emerging young talents and give them the opportunity to express themselves creatively. The word theatre means “a place to see from,” and we work with all forms of art: theatre, film, music, and much more.
